To enrich your Hong Kong experience, we are offering Day Excursions in small groups. This is an ideal way to engage with the local culture and people and to take full advantage of being in one of the most kinetic, most densely populated cities in the world. Experience the city where East and West, technology and tradition collide.

EXCURSION 1: Lantau Island (all day)

Guides : 1 per group, English speaking guide
Coordinator : 1-2 volunteers to accompany group
Transportation : coach and cable car
Meal : vegetarian lunch included

Highlights: Lantau is one of the largest outlying Islands of Hong Kong. Although it has experienced enormous development after the construction of the International Airport and Disneyland, the island still preserves as a landmark of rural paradise with beaches, fishing village and monasteries.

EXCURSION 2:  Lamma Island Boat Trip (all day)

Discontinued due to low interest. Refunds offered or exchange for different excursion during ISS sign-in.

Highlights: It is a small island still relatively quiet with a few trails on it. And: no cars!! It is a very good getaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown Hong Kong. You will find small shops, some paved trails, a few small vegetable fields, a few beaches, and seafood restaurants. Last but not least, there’s also a wind turbine for generating electricity.

EXCURSION 3: Victoria Harbour Evening Cruise (light show 20:00)

Highlights: Victoria Harbour is one of the busiest natural harbours in the world. Stunning views of the skyline, coastline and a variety of water craft make for an exciting trip. The “Symphony of Lights” show occurs every evening at 8pm. Lasers and floodlights light up skyline during this impressive 20-minute light show. It’s recognized as the “World’s largest permanent light and sound show” by Guinness World Records.

EXCURSION 4: Cultural/Historic Adventure Tour (half-day)

Transportation : coach, walking, coach
Meal : light lunch included
Price : $35 USD

Highlights: After gathering at Sheung Wan MTR Station guests will visit Man Mo Temple, the Medical Science Museum, paper offerings shops, antique dealers, incense stores. From Sheung Wan, adventurers will travel to the Soho area for tea/coffee/drinks, depending on the time of day. From here, guests will descend to the Central District where they will visit the amazing architecture of Hong Kong. Beginning with Hong Kong Bank, built by Norman Foster, then to the Bank of China created by renowned architect I. M. Pei. Pei designed the controversial glass-and-steel pyramid for the Louvre Museum in Paris. Afterwards, travelers can enjoy strolling along the high streets in Central District and breathing in the dynamic energy of Hong Kong. Those who enjoy high street shopping will have an incredible time in Central.
